People who go back on their word

Hello people.

Just here to update you on someone whom I thought was a nice person who kept his word.
But guess not. His name is Bud Lim. He's a triathlete and was from my former school RJ and RI.
We agreed to split our action during one of the games in past, and when he won and i lost, he didn't want to split the action going back on his word. In the end, I compromised, and he agreed to only cover my losses. But now he's even blocked me on MSN and not reply my sms-es at all in an attempt to not return me that sum of money. I'm utterly disappointed someone would throw away a friendship for just a couple of bucks.

So for those of you out there, watch out for this shady character, he could be selling you out next time for a small sum.

A day to be remembered..

We decided to do more tourneys which consisted of 2 more $24+2 45man, and a HU tourney.. It was hilarious.. I got knocked out early due to a donk re-shoving me with ATo when i raised with TT and he hit his A.. My MTTs also got beaten up pretty badly with sick beats.. But Jason managed to take down the HU.. He just slept till the next match-up, and got it over and done with within 10mins for the first few stages, but for the semis and finals, all it took was the first hand! Said he was meditating while he slept in between the matches LOL. Heres a rough recap of the hands..

Semis
Hole cards J4o
Jason raised to 90, Villain reraises to 270. After I reminded him that this guy was rather tight, Jason opts to calls.
Flop Jctc9d
Jason bets 180, Villain calls.
Turn 4c
Jason bets 540, Villain reraises all-in. Jason calls.
Villain shows KcKd.
River was a blank and thats that.

Finals
Hole Cards Js2s
Jason raises to 90, Villain called.
Flop 4s4c7s.
Jason bets 180, guy goes all-in.
Jason, "Eh, lets end this here." "One over card and a flush draw? Your call man I'm fine."
So Jason makes the call.
Villain shows 6s3s.
LOL we both started laughing.
Turn Qc
River Jd.

SHIP IT.

Army Life

To Jason: Get used to it and stop whining about army and I'll stop whining about my beats!

Sigh.
Lady luck is treating me so unkindly.
I can't take it anymore.
Once I'm well, I'm going to play live and scream at anyone who sucks out on me.
Cause they cant feel my anger online.
DIE YOU RIVER RATS!

The duo are back

Well, the Sng god is back from Thailand and shared his experiences with me. Been a while since we last met up, went for a game at Andy's place, was rather interesting as we playing 7 handed, as we usually go to a full ring game. The host, Andy, was very gracious, providing loads of drinks on the house and not asking for any contributions at all. It's a very cosy setting, a table that can comfortably sit 7-8 people, has a green blanket which is really like felt, shall ask him where he bought it. Thought there's no aircon, there's 3 fans blowing at us so no problem there.

So we played 1/2 blinds for the night, played about 4hours only, but boy was there action. Andy's friend came slightly later, so we started off 6 handed, loads of preflop stealing, with Jason being a total irritant always stealing my blinds as he sat to my left. Let me go through one of the major pots i played.

I was UTG, i limped in, Jason folded, Danny folded, Aggro raised to 10, Andy called, SB, BB and I called.
I had TcTd.
Flop, 368, all hearts.
SB check
BB check
I check
Aggro check
Andy bets 75
SB and BB folds
Bao Ying folds out of turn while i was thinking.
I had about 335 left in front of me, Andy had about 370
Well, with a bet of 75, i was certain he didn't have a flush, so i pushed it all-in.
I was right, he showed 36, and thought about it for like 15mins before decidng to fold.
That 15mins seemed like the whole night to me man LOL.

Last hand of the night,
I was in the on the button, called Aggro's raise to 12 and was heads up.
I had JQo
Flop 3dTdks
Aggro bets 50
I call

Turn Jh
Aggro bets 100
I call

River Th
Aggro goes all-in for 160
I fold

Felt he was on a flush draw, but that all-in at the end kinda gave it away or i would've called. He repeated all-in 3 times (LOL) think he thought i didn't hear him or something but he was really confident so i figured he at least had a T at the end. After the game he revealed that he had a full house, T3. Well, at least Jason and I ended the night in the green. Of course Jason went on to nag that its so -EV to play live for him and felt that it was rather boring. Who can blame him right?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next day, Andy invited us to go back for another session, as expected Jason felt that it was -EV for him to only play one table at a time let alone to see this whole cards once every 10mins and stayed home to grind. So i went alone with CW and Daniel, my dear neighborhood mates whom I have met recently and have built quite a nice friendship with.

It was 6 handed, same guys -Jason, same blinds.
Let me share some memorable hands.

Hole cards AcKd

I was UTG, raised to 8
Daniel folds
Bao Ying calls
Dealer, Danny calls
SB, Andy folds
BB, CW raises to 32
I call
Bao Ying and Danny folds

Flop 9hJh4c
CW bets 50
I gave it a nice thought.
He had only 110 left.
But i was pretty sure he was holding the way hand or was drawing for a flush.
But i felt he was rather committed and might have called if he was on a draw.
Being the donkey I am, I gathered up the couraged and went all-in for about 160 more.
CW folded.
Whew :)

Another memoriable hand
I limped UTG with JdJh.
Bao Ying raised to 12
Andy calls
I raised to 42
Bao Ying moves all-in for about another 120 more.
Andy thinks for a while with his 33 and folds.
I only had about 90 left and called.

Bao Ying shows 9d9c
Flop was TcQc7s
Turn Jc (Boy was i sweating as the table counted his outs)
River 6s
Whew~

And let me end offf this post with this hand.
I was UTG, raised to 8 with 2c3c
Bao ying raises to 28
folded to me and I called.

Flop 4d5dKs
I bet 40
Bao Ying raises to 90
I move all-in
Bao Ying calls for another 107
Pot was 453 in total.
He asked if I wanted to make a deal
So we turned over our hands
He showed QhKc
I flipped over my 2c3c
I let he let him decide how many times he wanted to run it and so we ran it twice.

Turn number 1, As
River number 1, 9c
:)

Turn number 2, 8d
River number 2, Ac

Cash Game @ Jon's

So its my first live game after over 3 weeks and as usual i arrive late at the game, with only 2 hours of play left, which i wasted another hour catching up with some old schoolmates who were there catching a soccer match. Table was rather fun, alot of talking and mostly limped pots. Well, I'm not making fun or anything about my opponent, but this was really the main highlight of the night..

I was dealt AJ on the button, raised it to $8 got one caller.
Flop comes A58, he checks, I bet out for $15, he calls.
Turn comes T, he checks again, I bet $20, he calls.
River's another A, he checks once again, I took a long time before going all-in for anoher $50~ and he calls almost instantly.
He turns over A4 to my delight, but as i was about to collect the chips...
"Isn't it a split pot? You mean the kicker counts?! OMG, i didn't know the kicker plays! Oh man, I really didn't know... Oh man, I'm so sad..."

Well, i felt really bad, honestly! I mean if he really didnt know that the kicker does play then i would be like cheating him right...? Well, but someone made this comment, "Well, you pay to learn the game." And that made me feel much better taking the reamaining chips left in front of him. :)

Another highlight of the game was me wearing this visor, which i could adjust it into a position that could cover my entire face. I looked like a weird power ranger, I'll try to get a picture of myself some time soon. Ok till next time people, have fun and good luck at the tables!

Fools @ Work

So after some supper, consisiting of a pizza, pasta, beer and oddly coffee as well, we decided to hail a cab and get back to the tables. So here's how it looked like at our workstation.

So we're grinding on ft, i'm on the laptop doing 6 tables while Jason's on the desktop doing 12 tables. EPT Copenhagen was going on live, and boy it was horrible, heads up action between Timothy Vance and Soren Jensen, it was worse then having your nails pulled out.
Yeah, it was that horrible. Well, anyone have a good keyboard to recommend? We're gonna hope the EPT ends soon. OMG man. Even the commentators wanna kill themselves its such a torture.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year to all!

Well, i've just returned from a family trip and got the chance to finally go on a official 'holiday' after about 8years.. Really havent been travelling much and i do regret walking into the casino to only empty my wallet. Sigh. Oh and i met a fellow poker player as well at the caribbean stud table, wasnt sure if it was him till i saw him shuffling his chips. Lol. I asked him what he was doing there since I knew he was making good money playing poker, and he pointed to the sign that showed someone winning 118k from the royal flush jackpot, and smiled gleefully at me saying, "Im responsible for making the jackpot only 26k now." Dammit, he's so sick. Imagine, in your early twenties, having 188k on hand, im quite sure it'll change your life. Well, so the moral of the story boys and girls, do NOT play caribbean stud or any other game in the casino for fun or you'll end up like me, BROKE.

Alright, so from the both of us, take care and all the best in this new year!

Weekly Friday Game

A change of environment, a nice cosy home, though i was sweating due to the lack of air-conditioning and a fan, it turned out pretty alright. Host offered us some banned liquor, which tasted rather odd, but still a great host. However, seems like we have another cheater in our midst, not too sure about this one but someone was pretty sure after the game. So if you guys dont want to be accused of cheating, simply do NOT bring the deck under the table, or hold the deck in your hands unless it's time to deal. Keep the game clean guys i'm starting to doubt most of the games i frequent.Moving along...

As usual i get the deuce seven props going on, and of course i am again the first one to win it with a raise utg to the disgust of the table. ;)
The night went well, got lucky playing very loose i must say, 36o, 69o, 5Jo were the hands i made straights with and took down some decent sized pots. I must say the 5J was the most exciting of all...
i was utg, raised it 3X BB, got 2 callers behind me.
Flop comes Ah Ks 8c .
I bet the pot, both calls.
Turn Qh.
I bet 3/4 of the pot, get one caller.
River Jc. Board show Ah Ks 8c Qh Jc.
I bet 1/2 the pot to the disgust of other player who relectantly calls and get the bad news along with bad beat, he had AK.

Well, once again i am still not very sure how to play hands like 69 limped in from the BB, flopping the straight. Bet? Check? Well, i realise the only way i got any action both times was when someone hit the lower straight or had dubs. So any suggestions?

When the chipleader is a donkey.....

Was bored one night and decided to have a little fun in the 180 players $4.40 sng just before turing in for the night. Decided to just keep pushing all-in with semi-decent hands while playing 4 turbo sngs and reading some stuff on the net.. and somehow i managed to reach the final table, got screwed with JJ went down to about 15BB, and 3 handed, with the chipleader having about a 3:1 chiplead.. and so i doubled up pushing all in with K7o and got called by K5o, then came the moment where the other two tangled up, leaving me in 2nd place and 1:4 against the chipleader.
Then came this hand.................

Well, i dont know what that idiot was thinking but yeah he was willing to gamble wasnt he.. Nonetheless, HE'S A FUCKING MORON!!!!
Sigh, i just cant get through a day without one of these beats..

Firstly, let me apologise to Jason for my suckout and let you guys know what exactly happened..
It's folded round to me and I'm on the button, i raise it to 6X BB with AKo, SB folds.
Jason on the BB starts voicing out...
"I know what you have... Could be a flip but I'm willing to gamble.. "
Then he pushes all-in for about $30 more..
I sat and thought about it for a while and called, i mean what the hell right since HE wanted to gamble.
He turns over 33, and i show my AK.
Flop comes 37K.
Jason, "I'm sorry man."
I remain silent.
The turn is a K.
"PAIR THE BOARD!!!!!!"
Jason, still waiting to collect his chips.
River brings a 7 for a board of 37KK7.
Kings full over 3s full.
Jason looks to the heavens and walks back into the room to grind.

I shall not post the ugly victory abuses i shouted out in excitment, but hell, it was the best suckout I've ever made. :)

Mr M is a Luckbox

Damned I just got runner runner by Mr M when I was a 11.5 to 1 favourite on the flop. What a donkey, you are a fool. Furthermore he charges me USD100 a day for staying over at his place for grinding. What a miser, you are so stingy. Ok now I feel better.

Encounter with a Super Duper Fish

There was this new guy who came to our home game a few weeks ago, let's call him Kenny. Being a new player, we did not really know much about him. But two hands played with him left a really deep impression on me. The blinds were $0.50/$1

First hand of the night, I'm dealt pockets Jacks and there were four limpers prior to my turn to act. I raised it to $7.50 and Kenny in the Big Blind instant calls, the rest of the limpers promptly folded. The flop cam J45 rainbow. Kenny checks to me, I bet out for $10 which was about 2/3 of the pot, Kenny instant calls again. On the turn came an 8, this time around Kenny fires $1 into the $25 ++ pot, I raised to $10 and he instant calls again. I started fearing that he had the 76. River came a brick and Kenny fired out another suspicious $1 bet, I raised it to $12 and Kenny snap calls me, guess what he turns over. (See Below)

Second hand that we cross swords. I'm dealty KQ suited on the button, again there were a few limpers before I acted, one of them which included Kenny. I raised to $10 to play, Kenny and another limper called. Flop came 884. Kenny checks, other guy checks, fearing someone was slow playing I checked instead of firing on air. Turn dropped a 2. Kenny fires $1 again, other guy called, I called just because it was a $1 bet. River came a 7, again Kenny fires $1, the other guy folded and I called because it was $1 in a $30 pot, guess what does Kenny flipped. (See Below)

After that night, I never saw Kenny anymore. Oh words can't describe how badly I missed him. Ok enough of sprouting nonsense, now back to the tables.

Macau After Chinese New Year

The degenerates are planning a trip to Macau to pawn the drunk uncles and aunties who always chase their draw at humongous bad odds. The date would the week immediately after the end of the FTOPS as we would be playing in some of the events. Interested people feel free to contact us to make arrangements for the trip.

Hello All

This will be the site where us denegerates will post about the happenings of our games both online and live as well as a whole lot bunch of crap. So stay tune, hopefully it would be really interesting.

Weekly Friday Night Game

So we finally reach the place after taking a nice long 20min walk to the place, I realise that we have a new face at the table. I'll post a picture of him next time. I have no idea what he was doing there, but i realize he was new to the game. Well, it got pretty clear soon after he started. He called raises after raises with absolutely nothing all the way even AFTER the river, and even wanted to call me after i went all-in, with one more caller before him on a board of A8598 when he had a 5 pair thinking i was bluffing. All i have to say is, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE MAN?!
Alright, got that off my chest and now back to tables.
